Costacciaro, PG 06021 Italia
+ Google Map https://www.comunecostacciaro.it/

The village, located close to Mount Cucco and along the consular Via Flaminia, was a Roman town (Castrum Costacciarii) and an important defensive castle, which was part of the committee of Gubbio from the 13th Century. Among the most important architectural exemplars, we find the Ravelin, massive defensive tower, designed by Francesco Di Giorgio Martini at the end of the 15th Century on behalf of Federico II, duke of Urbino, and the church of St. Francis, built in the first half of the 13th Century, with a beautiful Romanesque facade in limestone of Mount Cucco.
